Solar Educators

Not all solar contractors are the same and we take a different approach when it comes to discussing what’s best for our customers. Our Solar Educators prioritize education first, then advise our customers on how to use their solar system to fit their home’s energy needs. You’ll develop content for presentations, customize energy products to meet customer needs and provide customers with information such as warranties, funding options, rebates or tax incentives. Most importantly, our Solar Educators place the customers’ needs first with zero high pressure sales tactics and educate homeowners by building trust in order to earn their business and lifelong referrals.

Journeyman Electrician

Journeymen lead our team through the installation process. They’re responsible for providing the technical expertise to safely plan and perform electrical work for residential solar projects. This includes communicating with the roof lead, running electrical cable from array to electrical equipment, mounting disconnects, sub-panels, or inverters, commissioning systems, installing 240v receptacles for EV charging, and resolving electrical issues.

Inspections Technician

Inspection technicians work with our local jurisdictions to approve/sign off on permitted work. This is our chance to educate and demonstrate our equipment and includes calling in inspection requests, verifying labeling and placards are up-to-code, setting up ladders on site, taking notes for corrections, and notifying project coordinators of any issues or updates. You’ll also sit in on inspections that have zero to little cleanup work needed.

Solar Installer

A Solar Installer’s primary focus will be the installation of residential solar PV systems. Responsibilities include assembling all components of solar panel systems, structurally mounting racking and electrical equipment, and ensuring all penetrations are effectively sealed. You’ll also pull inventory for each project, complete required documentation, and maintain a clean, organized work site while adhering to safety standards.

Pre-site Technician

Pre-Site Technician

As a Pre-Site Technician, you play an important role in preparing for successful solar installations by meeting with customers to assess site conditions and gather essential data. This position is vital in ensuring that every solar project is executed smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll conduct on-site assessments to document current site conditions, review the scope of work with the customer, photograph site conditions, evaluate the age and condition of the roof, and identify optimal locations for electrical equipment. You’ll also report issues like un-permitted work, moss on the roof, or outdated electrical systems. Includes collecting detailed structural data on various types of buildings and create accurate rooftop layouts for solar arrays, including roof dimensions and penetrations (pipes, vents, etc).

Project Coordinators

Project Coordinators play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of solar energy projects, serving as the main point of contact for customers and managing critical project details.

Key responsibilities include tracking project timelines, communicating with customers in a professional and timely manner, providing consistent updates throughout the project, processing essential paperwork (HOA approvals, Net Energy Metering (NEM) applications, contracts, etc) and payment collection. You’ll also organize and maintain project documents, both locally and within project management software, so all records are accurate and accessible, and assist with completing and submitting NEM utility applications.
